Gardener in Upwell
Perry's Garden Maintenance proudly serves Upwell and the surrounding area.
Upwell runs for a couple of miles along Well Creek, and I cover the whole length of it for grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding and garden tidy-ups. One-off jobs and regular visits are both welcome.
I'm Perry, and I run Perry's Garden Maintenance myself, based over at Wisbech. You deal with me from the first message to the finished job.
Gardens in Upwell
Because the village grew up along the creek, a lot of Upwell gardens are long and narrow, running back a fair way from the house. That means a good stretch of lawn and long side boundaries, often with a hedge or fence down each side. On a regular round I mow, edge and strim the lot, so the far end of the garden gets the same attention as the bit by the back door.
Long side hedges are worth keeping on top of. A hedge that is cut slightly narrower at the top than the bottom stays thick at its base and stands up far better to the wind across open Fen country than one that has been allowed to get tall and top-heavy. If yours has already got away, hedge cutting can bring it back over a couple of cuts.
I also do grass cutting, tree pruning, weeding, bush removal and garden clearance, here and in neighbouring Outwell and Three Holes.

Garden maintenance in Upwell: your questions
Do you cover all of Upwell?
Yes, the whole village along both sides of the creek. If you're not sure about your road, send me your postcode.
How often should a long lawn be cut?
Through the main growing season, usually weekly or fortnightly. My guide on how often to cut your lawn goes into it, and I'll suggest a round that suits your garden.
