Gardener in Three Holes

Perry's Garden Maintenance proudly serves Three Holes and the surrounding area.

Three Holes is a small place, where the A1101 crosses the Middle Level Main Drain south of Upwell, but it is very much on my round. I do grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding and garden tidy-ups for homes in and around it.

I'm Perry, and I run Perry's Garden Maintenance myself. Plenty of gardeners won't travel out to a hamlet for a single garden. I will, and if you would like a regular visit, I can fit it into my Upwell and Outwell days.

Gardens in Three Holes

Out here the land is flat and open in every direction, and the wind has nothing to slow it down. That is hard on hedges and garden trees. A hedge cut to a sensible height with a tapered shape holds up much better than one left to grow tall and heavy at the top, and a tree with its dead and crossing branches taken out before winter is far less likely to lose a limb in a storm. My hedge cutting and tree pruning are aimed at exactly that.

Exposed gardens also tend to be bigger gardens, with more lawn to keep on top of. Regular grass cutting through the season keeps it from getting away, and I do weeding, bush removal and garden clearance too. All the green waste goes away with me.

Garden maintenance in Three Holes: your questions

Will you come out to Three Holes for one garden?

Yes. Three Holes is close to Upwell and Outwell, where I already work, so a single garden, one-off or regular, is no problem.

When should trees be pruned before winter?

Late autumn into winter, once the leaves are down, is a good time to take out dead and crossing branches on most garden trees. Plums and cherries are the exception and are pruned in summer.
